BelEdiMar is a project, listing all editions printed in Belgium before 1801, on the market.
The project started in 2001 and is based on catalogues by antiquarian booksellers and auctioneers.

The information, mainly based on description in the catalogues, consists of:
a/List number - current number - keyword. The current number is a number which remains the same with every update: it can be used as a number of reference (thank you, G.P.)
b/Author, title of the book, printing adress and format.
c/Editors, commentators, translators and illustrators.
d/Information on illustrations.
e/Bibliography and list of exhibitions where a copy of the edition was shown.
f/Auction or Antiquarian bookseller. Price. Before the slash the estimation, after the price.
g/Data on provenance and binding is mentioned if it concerns Belgium.
h/Short description of the sold goods: "lot" and "bound together with"
For prices concerning 2001 local currencies are given. Between brackets an approximate amount in Euro is given.
For prices from 2002 onwards the currency was converted according to the situation in January of the same year.
